I figured I would do a separate post for Uncle Clint and Aunt Lala’s visit because there were more than a few pictures :)

While Leigh Ann and Clint were visiting we got to meet up with one of Leigh Ann’s best friends, Betsy. She was down to go to Leigh Ann’s Baby shower (more on that soon!). The day everyone was leaving to go home, we decided to meet at Burger King so the kids could play. Betsy has two children- a sweet daughter, Salem who “3 1/2 years old” and handsome Drew who is 9 months old.

We love when Aunt Lala and Uncle Clint come to visit! We have so much fun with them and I thoroughly enjoy having a little break ha!

I can’t wait for our next visit with Aunt Lala and Uncle Clint because the baby will be here!! AHHHHHH I am just so excited! I can’t wait to actually buy things for a boy or girl! This child is going to be so spoiled ya’ll! Just like my own, and just like Aunt Lala and Uncle Clint Spoil my child!

Thank you for everything Clint and Leigh Ann! We love you guys so much!

Today, November 17, is Prematurity Awareness Day! This cause is near and dear to my heart because our sweet Ella Rae was born 6 weeks premature. We were definitely on the upper side of the 'premature spectrum' so to speak, as many babies are born waaay earlier. We did, however, spend 14 days in the NICU after Ella's birth. It was a whirlwind to say the least. Did you know that 1 out of 8 babies are born premature? And the amount of premature births has risen 30% since 1981. That means too many babies are coming early and too many parents have to endure the unknown of their child being born prematurely. Today is a day to fight for those babies and families. In honor of Premature Awareness Day, I thought I would share some pictures of Ella Rae's Birth. The very first photo ever taken of Ella Rae. He is only 17, but he's got a wonderful heart and donates a lot of money and time to many different charities and organizations. We are definitely fans! And a sweet picture of my girl, just for fun!! travels, visits and pics

Things have been pretty crazy round these parts lately. Ella Rae has definitely started acting like the old adage “terrible twos”. She certainly hasn’t been terrible by any means, just different. More active, busier, and she hasn’t been sleeping great. That means when she IS sleeping, I am taking some mommy time. Blogging just hasn’t been my top priority when there is always a sink full of dishes and multiple loads of laundry  to be washed and folded. We are counting down to Baby T’s arrival. My niece or nephew is due this Saturday so we are anxiously awaiting a “My water broke” call or a “I’m being induced on this date” call. Either way, I can’t wait to be an Aunt!!!  Here is Lala at 38 1/2 weeks! Doesn’t she look AMAZING!?! That being said, we are all getting ready to travel to Albuquerque!! Gigi and Grandaddy leave on Thursday and will stay almost 3 weeks. It will be Gigi’s longest time away from Ella Rae AND her longest time away from home ever since being married!! Baby T sure
