Christmas 2010 #1
This year, we were lucky enough to celebrate Christmas twice!
The first time, on Dec 24 & 25, with my parents and Kelly's Family
Then a second time around, on Dec 28 &29 with Aunt Lala and Uncle Clint!
We had a wonderful whirlwind of celebrations for almost two weeks!
Today I am going to share pictures from
Christmas Eve (Dec 24) and Christmas Day (Dec 25)

Today I am going to share pictures from
Christmas Eve (Dec 24) and Christmas Day (Dec 25)
We began the night at church for a candlelight service. After church Gigi, Granddaddy, O'ma and Uncle Ryan came back to our house for sandwiches. We had a great diner and it was good to spend time with O'ma because we hadn't seen her since Thanksgiving. Uncle Ryan even gave Ella Rae a present on Christmas Eve!
And now onto Christmas Day. That morning, Ella Rae came downstairs to see what Santa had left her. We played with the Santa presents and also opened some presents with Gigi and Granddaddy. Then O'ma, Poppy and Uncle Ryan came over for brunch and more presents. Some pictures from Christmas morning.
Ella Rae loves music, especially making it, and we were
lucky enough to come across this child size piano. It is a HIT!
Also another favorite gift- its the little things people! haha
That night, we went over to Gigi and Granddaddy's house for traditional Christmas Day dinner. I just love the candy cane lights on my parent's (and my childhood) house. They are so unique and I love that my dad still uses the old big bulbs.
Then the day after Christmas something AWESOME happened.....
IT SNOWED!
this happened one other time in 2010,
on Ella Rae's FIRST BIRTHDAY.
What is so bizarre is that previous to 2-12-10
the last time it had snowed was in 1989!
We have had snow 2 times in 1 year in the Lowcountry!
Our first *White* Christmas was so awesome!
We had such a great time being with our families.
And we are blessed to have received so many presents.
We love you guys so much!
Thanks for everything!
Now stay tuned for our second Christmas celebration
with Aunt Lala and Uncle Clint!
Well these are just SO fun!!!! What great pics you got! I will try and post my pics tomorrow so you can use some of them... but I am very sad we did not get a lot of good "Christmasy" ones!!!
