Wanted to share a few pictures...

Ella Rae has been picking out her own clothes lately.
I will lay something out for her, she will look at it,
then look at me and say 'nooooooo'.
(it really is that drawn out and it's sorta whine-y with a scrunched up face lol)

But sometimes I can persuade her
choices and she will at least be matching:


Other times though,
Ella Rae is persistent on what she wants to wear.
So mommy allows her to express her creative side and
wear whatever her little heart desires.

Even if its a 9 month shirt turned into a skirt,
a silly Christmas shirt,
and pink snow boots:

the finger in the nose totally made this pic 10x better!

I will admit the back view isn't quite as bad,
but still, a shirt turned into a skirt?
I don't know where she comes up with these things!

And due to the freezing cold temperatures here in
South Carolina
We have to be wrapped up in big heavy coats.
Not so fashionable either, but very necessary.
And very cute!

Today, November 17, is Prematurity Awareness Day! This cause is near and dear to my heart because our sweet Ella Rae was born 6 weeks premature. We were definitely on the upper side of the 'premature spectrum' so to speak, as many babies are born waaay earlier. We did, however, spend 14 days in the NICU after Ella's birth. It was a whirlwind to say the least. Did you know that 1 out of 8 babies are born premature? And the amount of premature births has risen 30% since 1981. That means too many babies are coming early and too many parents have to endure the unknown of their child being born prematurely. Today is a day to fight for those babies and families. In honor of Premature Awareness Day, I thought I would share some pictures of Ella Rae's Birth. The very first photo ever taken of Ella Rae. Today I am joining Goodnight Moon's link up party where we share a song. It's no secret that we (Ella Rae and I) are fans of Justin Bieber and I absolutely love this song of his. He is only 17, but he's got a wonderful heart and donates a lot of money and time to many different charities and organizations. We are definitely fans! And a sweet picture of my girl, just for fun!!
