CHRISTmas
10 more days till
CHRISTmas!
"It came without ribbons. It came without tags. It came without packages, boxes, or bags. Then the Grinch thought of something he hadn't before. Maybe Christmas doesn't come from a store. Maybe Christmas...means a little bit more."
I shared this quote on facebook today
and wanted to share it with blogger world, as well.
Let's all remember the importance of
CHRISTmas
this holiday season.
It's not about the presents.
It's not about the tree and decorations.
It's not about the cookies, food, meals.
It is about Family.
It is about Peace.
It is about Love.
But most importantly,
It is about Jesus.
It is about Mary and Joesph.
It is about the Angels, the Wise Men, the Shepherds
It is about the miracle of Jesus' birth.
It is about Luke 2: 1-38

And in other news....
Ella Rae has not been feeling well this weekend and week.
She never ran a fever-- just was all stopped up, coughing and not herself.
I do believe we are over the yuckiness hump
and finally on the mend.
And we are ALL thankful of that!
I think some of this sickness it due to this though:
You may not be able to tell but that is
ICE
on the pond behind our house!
(and still there at 9:50 am when this was posted)
The freezing cold temperatures here have been brutal for us.
Mainly because we are not accustomed to this type of weather.
I feel the worst for Kelly, as he works outside all day.
Yesterday morning it was only 16 degrees
when he started his day at 6 am.
Let's hope it starts to warm up a little-
for my sweet hubby's sake!
Happy Wednesday Everyone!
And remember:
Jesus is the Reason for the Season!
LOVE this post... but do NOT love that I have a sicky niece! :-( Ya'll are freezing over there and it is in the 60s here!!! Wanna move to Albuquerque????
