April



Out with March, in with April. 

Well it looks as though Baby T will be having a birthday in April instead of March, like we all thought!! It's actually kinda funny.... Leigh Ann and I had the same due date- March 26- and neither one of us had a baby in March! Ella Rae was born in February and Baby T will arrive in April. Lala is scheduled for  inducement tomorrow night if nothing happens before then. That means Baby T will be so sweet and fresh when Ella Rae and I get to ABQ on Tuesday. I can't wait to join everyone in celebrating Lala and Clint's child!

On a completely different note...
Being that today is April 1st, I decided to play a little April  Fools trick on my momma. I sent her this picture saying "I think I'm allergic to tuna?! Will benadryl help??"

I used the "Fat Face" iPhone app to create picture

As soon as I answered her immediate call, I was laughing. Mom was not. Once she finally heard me laughing she started saying "Is this an April Fools? Is this an April Fools?" Ya'll I was dying! I couldn't even get an answer out! She finally just hung up on me. I texted her a minute later saying please dont be mad, that it was just an iPhone app and a joke! HAHA

I also sent her this picture so 
she knew I wasn't joking anymore.

    That is hilarious!!! I pray that your sister's baby arrived safely and that you have a fantastic visit with her and the newest addition :)

    I'm going to have to check out the fat face app! I've never seen that before. My kids are obsessed with my iTouch though so I have to be sure to keep it away from them...I don't need kids with no filters on their mouths keenly aware of fat vs. thin, lol!

Miscellany Monday- a day late

Here is my Miscellany group of pictures for Miscellany Monday a day late. I began this post on Monday, but then Ella Rae had other plans for my afternoon haha. *warning: picture overload!* Starting with our trip to the pumpkin patch on Friday afternoon We didn't get to actually see the field of pumpkins because we missed the hayride down to the patch by about 10 mins. That's okay because Ella Rae still had fun! One things for sure, she is always on the move. As you can tell, Ella will never look at the camera. There were so many cute photo ops through out the farm, but out doodle was more interested in checking out the props haha. Oh well, we made memories and that is all that matters! Next is the Pumpkin Carving Party Saturday night That's a picture of our traditional jack-o-lantern. Leigh Ann's Baby Shower

I joined 4 other women to throw my sister’s baby shower while she was visiting over Christmas. It was my first time actually being a part of the planning and I really enjoyed it! I was in charge of the invitations, decorations and games. They are doing a teddy bear theme in the baby's nursery so we tried to incorporate teddy bears throughout the entire shower. Let's start with the invitations. My sister and brother in law have decided to wait until Baby T (as we like to call him/her) comes to find out their gender. I knew I wanted the invitations to be gender neutral, but it was difficult to find something that represented my sister. I decided to hand make her invitations. I printed the words on to card stock and used scrap book paper as an accent to off set the white card. Then I put different zoo animals and boy/girl decorations around the cards and added a little teddy bear to each one. Each card I made was different, and I created 50 total!!!
